Honey took part in this years RIBA’s Regent street project which “fuses together cutting edge architecture from some of the capital’s leading practices and unique retail design” along the theme of cities of tomorrow. We worked to transform Duchamp’s flagship store into a kaleidoscope of breathing, spinning mirrors.
Original Concept animation.
A parametric model was used to generate the pieces. Components were CNC laser and Router cut to form the geometric swirls of the reflectors.
The Plywood cassettes were made to be slotted together ‘dinosaur kit’ style, for rapid construction in a single day.
